Cookie policy
This page explains the cookies and similar storage brippo.com uses, when we use them, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy policy.
The short version
brippo.com currently sets no non-essential cookies. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking. The consent banner you see on first visit is preventive — it captures your choice so that when we add analytics in future, we know whether to load the tag.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Browsers also offer related storage mechanisms (localStorage, sessionStorage). For simplicity, this page uses "cookies" to mean any of these.
Under UK PECR, websites must ask for your consent before storing non-essential cookies on your device. "Strictly necessary" cookies — ones needed for the site to function — are exempt.

The consent banner
On your first visit you see a banner at the bottom of the page with two equally prominent buttons: Accept all and Reject all. Neither button is pre-selected. Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage and respected on every subsequent page.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing brippo.com's storage in your browser settings — the banner will reappear on your next visit.
If we add analytics in future
If and when we add an analytics provider (planned: consent-gated Google Analytics 4), we will:
- List the provider and the cookies it sets on this page before it goes live
- Update the consent banner so the analytics tag only loads if you accept
- Update the Privacy policy to reflect the new processor
Browser-level controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and similar storage. The instructions vary by browser:
Blocking strictly-necessary storage may prevent the consent banner from remembering your choice (it will reappear on every visit).
Changes to this policy
The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. If we add or remove cookies, this table will be updated before the change takes effect.
